Summary

This work of speculative nonfiction combines meticulous fact-finding from historian/researcher Richard M. Dolan and forward-leaning scenarios from journalist/screenwriter Bryce Zabel on the world's most mind-bending subject. The authors predict radical changes after official acknowledgment that at least some UFOs are intelligently controlled craft from somewhere other than Earth. A.D. After Disclosure isn't afraid to make mind-blowing, specific predictions, such as: Congress will hold Watergate-style hearings and ask secret-keepers, "What did you know and when did you know it? "The first decade A.D. (After Disclosure) will be like a high-tech 1960s, spawning massive cultural and societal change. Abductees will file a class-action suit against the government for withholding critical information. All the textbooks on planet Earth - from history to science - will need an immediate review. Whether disclosure leads to social panic or ushers in a new era of unity and peace, it will undoubtedly be a game-changing event.

Critic reviews

"A.D. by Richard Dolan and Bryce Zabel is an important attempt to prepare us for what will one day be inevitable: an open understanding that we are not alone." (Edgar Mitchell, Sc.D, Apollo 14 Astronaut)

Dry, but very well considered

The authors have put a tremendous effort into thinking ahead the potential possibilities for what happens next. A believer from the outset and still a believer, this is the first book that made me really pause to contemplate the impact of disclosure. Don’t judge this one by the cover, or expect to be entertained. The artwork could be greatly improved to reflect the nature of the content which is serious, balanced, and likely to stimulate perspectives on the topic that may never have crossed your mind before. My thanks to the authors for the colossal effort it must have taken to put this together.

One of the best UFO books out there

They explore the implications and changes in our world after we know we have been visited and lied to from a long time. Very thoughtful, detailed and plausible scenarios. Really recommend.

A very enjoyable and fascinating book

This is the first book I’ve read which combines a UFO history with what the world may look like after Disclosure. The narrators voice tone is always important for audio and at 1st felt unsure but actually really enjoyed their tone!

The story is intriguing and certainly makes you think of the “what ifs” following Disclosure. It is well interspersed with the history and I feel has contributed well to my developing knowledge of the UFO world. I would recommend the book. And chose it following another great book by one of the authors Richard Dolan!

Nice "What If" if Disclosure ever happens

Really enjoyed this book. Was interesting to hear someones ideas on how life, goverenments and the world would cope with the news we are not alone.

Good listen

Interesting speculative view of what may happen if authorities ever become honest. Good narration.

Some great predictions

This book was written pre-2017. Some of the predictions are now coming true. For example the idea that part of initialising disclosure could be footage from a fighter jet...yep that's exactly what's happened. We are only at the beginning of this journey and this book maps out possible routes towards full disclosure.....we're not there yet so its worth a listen.

"Speculative non-fiction" so fiction

Kevin Foley does a good job with the narration of this book. It feels a bit long and repetitive for the subject matter, which includes Dolan's usual wild conspiracies based on hearsay and, as usual, lacks references, names and so on. This book is based entirely on Dolan's theory of what the cover up is and by whom. If he is wrong about who is responsible or what the cover up is then the whole thing comes crashing down. If x is true, then y could happen and z could happen and so on. The book also feels a little dated post Covid.

That said, it was a good listen
