Publisher's Summary

Acts Of Faith is a thoughtful and inspirational work that explores, with great insight and sensitivity, the unique pressures on people of color today. This program confronts the four basic areas that create stress and imbalance for people of color: relationships with ourselves, with the world, with each other, and with money. No matter who you are or where you are in any of these areas, Iyanla Vanzant tells you that you can make changes, realize improvement, and eliminate stress in all of your relationships.

What the Critics Say

" Acts of Faith is an important spiritual resource for African-Americans and other people of all colors." (Linda Villarosa, Senior Editor, Essence magazine)" Acts of Faith is a dazzling collection of meditative statements. It should be a standard work for a long time. Iyanla Vanzant has found a way to help us keep body and soul whole." (Molefi Kete Asante, Professor and Chair, Department of African-American Studies, Temple University)

ShellBell - London. Loved it!

I listened to this book on the train as I went to work. Iyanla's voice is so comforting! Her words are powerful, they reached the core of my soul. Although, the deepness and truth of what she was saying made me feel uncomfortable at times. The explanations she gives and the way she reads - soothes. Once the book came to an end, I was sad! LOL! My only negative is: Too short! A beautiful book to inspire and encourage.👌🏾👍 The music and drums webeautiful!😍
