Publisher's Summary

For centuries, a hidden current has run through the world's wisdom traditions, a dark, positive, feminine energy represented by such striking symbols as the Tibetan Buddhist Tara, the Catholic Black Madonna, and the Hindu Kali. Now award-winning author and researcher China Galland escorts you on a spiritual pilgrimage in search of these inspiring figures. From India to South America to medieval Europe, you'll encounter the world's most powerful manifestations of "fierce compassion" - the feminine force that emerges when we harness our anger and transform it into spiritual awareness - and learn how to awaken this power within yourself.

Great content, awful quality

What did you like best about The Power of the Dark Feminine? What did you like least?

This was a brilliant book and I'd love to hear more from the author but the editing on this was truly terrible. Whole sections missing and some parts which began only to stop mid sentence and skip around like a broken CD. In parts it became very difficult to understand as a result and I'd go so far as to recommend that no one buy this version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Power of the Dark Feminine?

I loved the meditation with the black Madonna, not least because it was one of the only uninterrupted sections. The content was fascinating but I got the impression I was missing large sections of it.

How could the performance have been better?

Needs to be released again in full or completely re-edited to avoid the several stop-start missing chapters and confusing edits. Terrible quality although Galland had a lovely and clear voice.

Any additional comments?

Please fix this! The fantastic content deserves a better release than audible have given it.
