Short, honest and practical teaching

Excellent - a good challenge and reminder
Felt quite challenged by a lot of this; principally that busyness is the archenemy of healthy spirituality and prayerfulness. I need to slow down, make space - for God and others. Many guys (myself included) get too busy and even find our significance in the wrong busyness rather than in the presence of God and in our relationship with God. Great book, well read. Highly recommended.

A good argument for prayer
A thoughtful and well argued book. Backed by Biblical comment throughout. With Bill Hybels, you feel he is showing you as much about his failings as his experience and this makes it real for me.
