Based on the groundbreaking research of respected historian Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope 101 reveals an unimaginably devious political system, skillfully manipulated by a handful of elite, which is undermining freedom and democracy as we know it. The goal of those who control the system, in Quigley's own words, is to dominate "all habitable portions of the world." Using deception, theft, and violence, they have achieved more toward this goal than any rulers in human history.
However, the Information Age is quickly derailing their plans. The immorality of their system, and those who serve it, has become nearly impossible to hide. Awareness and resistance are growing...tragedy is yielding to hope.

I suspected much of this, nice to have it in audible and book for presentation.

I purchased this book/audiobook after having completed half of Dr. Quigley’s “Tragedy and Hope ” (will be referred to as T&H hereafter). I’ve spent the past year or so reading T&H casually and intended for this book to give me a rundown on the entire book.
Well, to my surprise, this book was not a summary of T&H as claimed. The author spouts the typical right-wing nonsense. The author spends 30% of the book giving disputing Quigley’s information, 20% actually expanding on Quigley’s info and the remaining 50% giving his own political views. As you can see, very little time was devoted to summarizing Quigley’s work. The nail in the coffin for me, which confirmed the author to be another disinformation agent, was the fact that even though Quigley talked extensively about the gold standard being a banker’s operation, the author not only defends, but recommends going onto a gold standard to solve our monetary problems!!!!
The author tries to cover his “rear end” by making it seem that Quigley didn’t fully understand the banker’s intention and their use of gold but this is nonsense. Authors such as Eustace Mullins, Stephen Zarlenga, Ezra Pound, Bill Still and many others who have seriously studied monetary history and reform have all concluded without room for doubt that the gold standard is a banker’s operation. It is typical of right-wing types who are nothing but disinformation agents to completely disregard this evidence concerning gold. Another tell-tale sign of these types is that they encourage anti-government views. Again, anyone who’s done any homework will tell you that smearing government and encouraging the citizenry to distrust government is a banker’s tactic. The elites (or The Network, as Quigley put it) love to encourage citizens to give up on government because they know that should citizens become informed of what is going on and take control of government, they stand to lose a lot. So, they convince us to distrust government and that nothing we do can make a difference. The right-wing apologists for the elites, who front as reformers, advocate not only anti-government sentiment but also solutions that will do nothing but shift power back to the banking elites.
So, my advice is to avoid this one and read Quigley’s actual work along with the other authors whom I mentioned. These right-wing guys are blatant liars...this author along with guys like G. Edward Griffin.
