Interesting but light on detail
Is there anything you would change about this book?
More detail. Constantly referencing lots of research and evidence that is never surfaced and you are left with only high level anecdotes.
What could Hunter Muller have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Stop giving details of the entire CV and an advertisement of the company for people being referenced. At times it felt like they were paid ads.
Was On Top of the Cloud worth the listening time?
Just about. I came away thinking meh and don't feel I have walked away with very much useful information.

Save your valuable time
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I understand that blatant marketing ploys would have been more upfront. This piece advertised as unbiased was ultimately not. There were moments through the audio I found myself thinking... I just heard that. There were more moments as I got into hour 2 where it became I JUST HEARD THAT! Being in the technology sector I thought this book valuable (and I just might read 'The Transformational CIO') but the redundancy could have been reduced. The audio could be condensed into an hour an a half; max. SFDC undertones and other software company success stories made this read more like a brochure I should have received while expecting a demo.

Cloud computing insights/foresights??
First 5 chapters, I am thinking about is this book about CIO's admittance to the board room, I think we established that about 6-7 years back.
