Just not "enough" in my opinion, unfortunately.
I was incredibly excited for this book, simply because it happens to be a repeat fantasy of mine. Unfortunately the book ended up being a bit of a let down.I just wanted more all the way through... mainly more description, throughout.
How did each part make "her" feel? Like nervousness/ anticipation/ worry about upsetting "her" husband.
How did everything around "her" feel? The tightness of even her clothes for example.
What could "she" smell?
How did things taste?
What other sounds we're there?
Was "she" salivating/dry mouthed/tingly/covered in goosebumps/overheating etc etc.
I think I prefer the way other books describe everything "more" so I can clearly imagine how I would be/ feel, in the same situation, and with this book I almost felt disconnected from the story.... So I couldn't enjoy it as much as was expected.
Jennifer narrated this book quite well. I'll be honest, I can't stand her voice (no offence intended but I have to be honest) and the inflection in her voice while reading is often incorrect (e.g. A question read by Jennifer can often sound more like a statement without the higher note of inflection at the end of a sentence.... Or she OFTEN reads a sentence monotone and that drives me nuts). Anyway, I survived this book without cringing the entire time. Well done Jennifer!
The idea behind the story is actually a very good one that I'd REALLY LOVE someone to take and turn into the exciting, naughty and stimulating book it could potentially be! The reality of being taken by several men while your husband records it, is far more gripping than this book portrays.... so... someone... Somewhere.... .PLEASE.... Do it justice!!
