I take my hat off to Mr Wells for giving us a clear, unambiguous and at all points, humorous look at the true nature of The Lord, the God of Love. As a book it's a great piece of work. As an audiobook it takes the story to another level. The material is fantastically well read by Brendan Littlefield and is excellently produced - there are a couple of tiny errors in the production, but these in no way undermine the point being made. I recommend this over the paper version. Here's my full review from the Amazon UK site...
Everyone, believer and non-believer alike, should have the chance to have the 'Revelation' of the darker side of the Lord this book gives you. It's interesting that on the many occasions I've attended a church service of any denomination that this kind of stuff has never come up in the preachings from the pulpit about the God of Love. This book has opened my eyes to his dark side. Get your own bible out and read these passages. You should be astonished, if not angered that we should be expected to give grace and favour to believers of this stuff. I'm pretty certain that most believers are unaware, as was I, of the Lord's blood lust. To those in the pulpit who should be and in all probability are aware of this stuff I can only say that I'm ashamed for you. Reading this might help you understand why we continue to have terrorist atrocities happening in the 21st century - carried out of course by the Lord's most ardent believers.

The Bible tells us the God of the Jews and Christians is a supreme butcher.
What did you love best about Drunk with Blood?
Steve Wells' "Drunk with Blood - God's Killings in the Bible" is a less than positive take on the Bible, not for the feint of heart faithful. When last did you read your Bible with an open mind? The capricious violence is staggering (not to mention the slavery, misogyny debauchery and homophobia) . Whereas the number of people God kills adds into the millions, Satan comes in with a pitiful score, barely breaking into two digits.
Along the way you learn that all the attributable evil spirits in the Bible are released by God, none bySatan. Really? They didn't teach me that at Sunday School.
The audio book is well narrated but I suspect I'll also want a digital copy that I can thumb through and to copy-paste from.

Where does Drunk with Blood rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Hard to say. It is a very unique book.
What did you like best about this story?
The true to the fact depiction of what the Bible actually says, rather than the sanitized and ultimately false depiction of the Bible as a work of love.
Which scene was your favorite?
Again hard to say, although Wells's accounts of the stories of Samson, Job and, Jesus are chilling.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Impossible not to. Why anyone would believe what is written in the Bible or would want to have such a god escapes me.
Any additional comments?
I think this book creates a problem for anyone who ascribes to Judaism or Christianity. The only way that most Abrahamic theists can rationalize this litany of brutality and murder is by denial, (self)deception and, dishonesty. This type of book exposes the Bible for what it is, an emperor's clothes document.
