In The Enoch Factor, readers discover a kindred spirit in an author who understands how religion can subvert a spiritual life. His story will help them navigate their own spiritual journeys. More than a personal odyssey, The Enoch Factor is also a testimonial to the innate dangers of fundamentalist thinking. It is a persuasive argument for a more enlightened religious dialogue in America, one that affirms the goals of all religions guiding followers in self-awareness, finding serenity and happiness, and discovering what the author describes as the sacred art of knowing God.
Unapologetic and moving, McSwain's take on The Almighty is sure to ignite spirited debate. Full of wisdom, humor, and truth, The Enoch Factor bridges the gap between secular and Christian book titles on spirituality, setting a new standard in both.

An Opinionated work. scattered and Unfactual.
Comprises the writers assumptions which he bases on his own lifes experiences and although asked his audience to keep an open mind he himself is closed to certain fundamental truths that he guides the readers mind rather then allowing it to remain open.
An eloquent writing and the reading is easy on the ear, while still provoking many aspects of this so profound topic, the writer sticks to facts as closely as possible without being offensive to anyones faith.
I however beg to differ as i absolutely do not believe that worship of all gods lead to the one God. The Bible, being Gods communication to His Physical Creation is wholely revealing and not mysterious in the least except where one requires discernment to understand certain symbolic events which had to be as they have several fulfillments over varying times and geographies. The Spirit being a real and existing life form. To comprehend the person of God is as fathomless as understanding the extremities of existence itself. It is enough that we know He exists and is a real being, this beingbthe animorphisim as communicated by Himself to the prophets of old and this being recorded once for all time. To the making of many books there is no end and the reading of which is futility. A living slave has been provided to make clear the knowledge that feeds our spirit. Mans philosophy and worship of the fallen is what has led us to the poor state were in today.

Another Slick Talker!
We all have our crosses to bear and to find our way out of the struggles of daily life to reach for ourselves. So I found listening to his journey more of the same I have heard from others of his persuasion. I am happy for you and yourself discovery and awareness but what I expected to hear about in this book was Enoch not another story of how you arrived at your enlightened condition.
