Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.

A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends.

Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn't know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day.

Now she's home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there's no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after...but I'm not done with Whitney Gable.

I'll never be done with her.

A Riscoff and A Gable.

WHEW!

When Lincoln met Whitney Gable he fell hard, too bad for the young lovers... their family feud makes the Capulet's and Montague's look like a Hallmark family Christmas special. They may live in a town called Gable but the Riscoff family own it. The forbidden romance hits many obstacles but Whitney finally called it quits when she walked down the aisle with another man and Lincoln begged her not to... she doesn't listen, because as her aunt Jackie counsels.. nothing good can ever come from a Riscoff and a Gable being together.

Now, 10 years later she's the widow of a rockstar and in hiding from his furious fans.

Still as addicted to the beautiful dark haired temptress Lincoln can't keep himself away, he wants her heart, he wants her period.

This book was fantastic. The narration was perfect.

“They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable.”

A true, true love story

Oh my word. A modern day Romeo and Juliette. Two families. So much hatred. The story spans over ten years, a before and after if you will.
Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable were instantly attracted to each other, of course once Witney realised who Gable was she tried her best to stop whatever it was between then. Gable on the other hand only seemed to fall harder for Whitney. I’m yet to find out what happened ten years earlier to tear them apart (thanks for the cliffie by the way). We do get to see them meet up ten years later, with exactly the same baggage. I do have a couple of theories (I’m keeping them to myself, I’ll see if they pan out shortly). The love they share is literally the stuff of legends. Lincoln particularly has had no greater love. I loved his passion and his honesty. As always with Meghan March, great characters, story and narration. I have no clue how she always snags the best narrators (I’m guessing it’s her great stories), but I’m not complaining. I could listen to her stories forever..

Rather good💕

This was a new author for me and the story was really good.
The audio was good but would have been better with just one person reading it. I loved the reading parts that Joe Arden read very good with the womans reading parts.
Erin mallon was an ok reading her parts.... She did a rather good male voice, but the way she spoke the female leads parts were for me annoyingly arrogant sounding.
But on the whole was a good listen💕

Richer Than Sin

This story has brilliant tension with great ups and down and a clips from the past. It also leaves you a big cliff hanger. Apparently great

Couldn’t get into it

Had to return this book. First time for me with a Meghan March story. It kept chopping and changing between the present and the past which stopped me from being able to get into the story and so I kept getting distracted. There was very little connection between the hero and heroine and that could have been developed more. Also, the plot seemed too much like a cheesy soap opera with all the drama and relationships (and looking at spoiler reviews it is only going to get worse). What’s happened to Meghan March? I’ll try again with her next series/book and hopefully she’ll be back on track.
