Interesting story that holds together well nice characters and the possibility for future sequels I liked it I will look for more from this author
What did you love best about Bright Horizons?
I'm a fan of science fiction with a military background. Bright Horizons brings both to the table. The characters feel real and Jim McCabe does a great job with his voice characterizations!
The other thing that makes Bright Horizons a little more interesting than other books about First Contacts that I've read, is there are a lot of prequel stories that I'd like to see fleshed out either in the continuing books or may off shoot stories like I've seen in the Joe Ledger series. Bright Horizons does have enough background that continues to tie it all together, but I know there are more stories to the India War as one example.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Bright Horizons?
There is an interesting twist to the first contact and I do not want to give that away, but how it plays out and changes Earth's future course makes Bright Horizons an intriguing story that keeps you paying attention to the details.
Have you listened to any of Jim McCabe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not, but I'd like to hear him narrate the rest of the series by Wilson Harp!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Bright Horizons - Marines First to Diplomacy in the Last Frontier
Any additional comments?
Bright Horizons is the first in a series and I hope the other two will be narrated. But, I have a feeling that I'll be buying the series as kindle books in anticipation.
