Control the dragons. Rule the realm.
Tressa's army won the battle, but at a terrible cost. So many lives lost. So many lovers torn asunder. And that was just the beginning. An ancient beast rumbles beneath the Dragonlands, thirsting for blood. Dragon blood.
Setting aside her heartbreak, Tressa ventures beyond the Dragonlands to the mysterious realm of Desolation, searching for allies and answers. There, she faces enemies more powerful and devious than she's ever encountered before.
Yet amid the violence and destruction, Tressa discovers a secret that's been kept over 80 years. A secret that could be the key to saving the Dragonlands, once and for all.

Can't wait for the next book

Really enjoyed this series, read the first three books on Kindle and enjoyed having this one read to me, now for the last chapter :)
A really great story, good characters but so many plot twists, you never know where it is going to go next

Exciting Turn Of Events

Megg Jensen did a stellar job of picking up the series where the last book left off and what an exciting turn off events as Bastien returns, Connor remembers, and Tressa becomes more than she imagined possible.

Who wouldn't want to be a dragon?

Good except the completely illogical "resistance" of hazel to become a dragon. Really? People would suffer all kinds of pain for that. Makes no sense.
