Summary

Once again Pern is in danger. The air trembles with Threadfall, and the holds seethe with rebellion. Piemur, his singing ended by a change of voice, is given a new assignment. On a bold mission to the Southern Hold he will learn the Oldtimers' secret and help Pern rediscover its lost heritage.

Good story but very poor recording

Good story but very poor audio quality. I’m afraid it was not worth the credit I paid

What a disappointment.

The narrator does not seem to understand the concept of pace or drama. She is better when obliged to voice the character's direct speech. Also, or sounds as if it was read and recorded in the seventies! I love these books, so disappointing. The quality of sound recording is terrible. I want my money back...
