Summary
This is it.
Alpha team goes once more into the breach.
On what will be their final missions ever in the Zulu Alpha - and the fight of their lives — Homer & Ali, and Predator & Juice, launch out into the terminal post-Apocalypse, as London is overrun by the very last rush of death covering the entire planet. Neither mission can fail, but can all four teammates survive? Or will some go down safeguarding the lives of those they love more than life itself?
Handon fights his way back from the dead.
As reinforcements flood into CentCom, ahead of the onslaught of the undead world, one man lies in a coma at the heart of humanity's final fallback position. But will the ghosts of all those who've fallen before, and the love of those who yet remain, be enough to bring him back to life, and back to the fight, in time to lead the final battle?
The last survivors man the Alamo of the Alamo.
As CentCom is overrun, and it all collapses and the screen goes black, the last heroes of humanity have one final chance to save the world. But as they cling to one another in their shrinking circle of life, will they be able pull it off from the mast of the last sinking ship in a world submerged in a sea of death...?
Love. Death. The End of the line. Endgame.

The Last Hope of Humanity!
They were our last hope, just two men stood between ultimate success or crushing failure. Everything that had gone before from deepest Africa to the coastline of the United States, from Moscow to the biggest cities in Western Europe would have been for nothing if two lone souls did not prevail against the odds. The hopes of thousands rested upon their shoulders, the possibility of humanity achieving one of its pinnacles of achievement stood on the precipice.
Yet these two men had proved themselves tier one operators time and time again. They had honed their skills and survived numerous tight deadlines over years of hard fighting. The deadliest and most evil intents had been thrown against them and they had returned them all with interest. This was no ordinary unit they were the best of the best and they knew it.
The pressure was on though, thousands of eyes and ears turned the spotlight of expectation on them. The weight of what went before, all their achievements would have been for nothing if they failed with this one last battle, this one last Herculean task. They just had to push through this final time . . . Michael Lightning Fuchs and R.C. Thundervoice Bray took up their weapons and faced the Endgame . .
Okay, in the style of this series maybe a little over-dramatic, okay not even maybe! However, if these guys had failed to deliver a brilliant ending to this series, if they'd failed to give these wonderful characters a fitting finale then it would have been such a letdown. In this genre this series stands out delivering almost non-stop action and tension from start to finish. Handon, Ali, Kate, Juice, Pred, Fick, Sarah, Charlotte, Hackworth, Jamieson, Noise and so many others, in fact even the dead demanded an ending that did them justice. Failure to do that would have been enough to bring tears to the eye. Fuchs went for broke giving us the longest Arisen book yet and he delivered all that we've come to expect with high octane tension, violence and gore straight from the off.
Most important of all he gave us that fitting ending, I won't say what it was of course but he did them proud! Thankyou Michael and RC for what is undoubtedly one of the very best series of audiobooks I've ever had the pleasure to listen to.

Finished at last.
This series has been enjoyable overall, mostly due to the narration skills of R. C. Bray, however it should have finished a long time ago. It concerns me that some books are unnecessarily drawn out. Unless a story is exceptionally good, which this was not, writing 13 books is just nuts. There are memorable characters along the way and great action, but a better writer would have not taken so long to get to the end. If this particular book had not indicated that it was the last I would have just not bothered. The whole series is very repetitive: lots of situations that cannot possibly be overcome which are tediously played out and triumphed over. I mostly listened to the whole series because the narrator is excellent. Overall: ok but not worthy of all the credits.

The best from an outstanding series
The conclusion of an exhilarating story spread over 14 main series and 3 stand alone. The story has you gripped from page 1 of book 1. The writing of MSF brought to life by the force of nature that is R.C.Bray. Amazing.

You love zombie genre? This is probably the best series.
I’m literally speechless. I finished 14 books in 5 days because I couldn’t stop listening. There’s good, there’s epic, and then, way above is ARISEN! Thank you Michael Fuchs and R. C. Bray! You have created a masterpiece.
