Publisher's Summary

When Frank and Gina Hackett's daughter, Laura, is abducted and murdered, the police are baffled. When their investigations turn up no leads, Frank and Gina decide to take matters into their own hands. But do they want justice or revenge? Indeed, can they even tell the difference any more?
Frank and Gina think you've killed their daughter and they want a confession. If you say you did it, they'll kill you. If you say you didn't, they'll leave you to die. So how do you stop the next words you say from being your last? It seems hopeless but there is one way out.... What would you do?

Shaun Hutson at his best

An incredible book with a brilliant twist! I won't give anything away as other reviewers do sometimes, but I think my favourite part was when paul realises where he is. The narrators timbre added to the story. I was disturbed by the description of the rape but I suppose any reader would be and that is the point at times with a horror story.

This book has been first class.
