Summary

Ridmark Arban is the Gray Knight, banished and outcast from the High King's realm. Yet Ridmark alone sees the danger. The dread Frostborn shall return, and unless Ridmark can warn the realm, the Frostborn will entomb the world in ice forever. Calliande wields mighty magic. Yet her memory is gone, her past forgotten. But her foes remember, and they are coming for her. Gavin is the son of the praefectus of the village of Aranaeus, and men and women and children are disappearing from their homes as shadowy, bestial shapes prowl through the forest. Yet no one will heed Gavin's warnings of other creatures stirring in the darkness. Creatures that feast upon the souls of their victims....

Great story

Very repetitive only so many times you can hear about ridmarks guilt and how much he’s looking forward to death

Could be SO MUCH MORE.

I’m going to be brief. It’s a good enough story but the repetition is getting out of hand. If I have to hear about his wife or lost memories or about how blue the blue armour is , I will loose it. I have to bring my journey to an end at book 2 , I see exactly how this series is going and it will just annoy me. Too short, and because of the repetition all through it seems almost on purpose just to get to the end. Also how is it they go around telling EVERYONE they can find about their plans. It makes no sense. I was really looking forward to a nice long series but by the end of the first one I was already doubting but now that I have finished the second one I am sure I will not be proceeding with the series.I could go on forever but I won’t, deep down I’m disappointed but not everyone is Robert Jordan.
