Summary

This star system is burning down.

Seaman Jake Price's "betters" have failed the people of the Steele System, so he's taking matters into his own hands.

Darkstream has tricked the public into believing the Quatro are the enemy, but the company has already sold the system's security to the true enemy: the Progenitors.

Now, Jake is calling on everyone who remembers what it means to fight out of duty instead of money. If they can't stop Darkstream in time, the system will burn, and the inferno will consume everyone in it.

Get Infliction and experience the epic finale of this military thrill ride today.

Evil surfaces

The mech team must deal with the results of those who are working against the best interest of the humans. The true intentions of those who are running the government is brought out.

The narration was great.

Infliction

The final book in the Mech Wars series and we finally find out how things wrap up with Jake, Lisa, Rug and the rest.

I won't lie, I had no idea how Scott was going to wrap this series up. More than halfway through the book and I didn't really know where we were going to end up.

The action is all out again and we have battles between all factions and some of the seperated groups are reunited for the finale.

I can't say much more as I really don't want to spoil it for anyone but it's certainly a must read for anyone who has read the first three books but even though this is the end of this series, don't think this is the end of the story!

Mark Boyett again does a great job of narrating.

Really enjoyed this series!

Easy to listen to, solid storytelling and cool tech! Easy to recommend as a YA fiction series for the boys (or girls) that like a bit of action
