Wow! Really enjoyed this

Would you listen to Ink and Bone again? Why?

I think this is a book I will listen to again. Great story, great narration.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ink and Bone?

I'm not sure I can pick just one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

I really loved this book. I've previously read the Weather Wardens books, which I loved, but this is better. I listened to this, then immediately bought the second book for my Kindle (only because I its not (yet) available on Audible) and now I'm waiting for the third. I have been recommending this series to everyone I know.

Librarians like you've never known before

I've really enjoyed this series. I'm a big Rachel Caine fan and thought it's taken me a few years to get into her new series, only because I was still recovering from the Weather Warden & Morganville Vampire series.

There wasn't much I didn't enjoy about this series, a great narrator an action packed storyline, a promising tease for the next book.

An amazing listening experience

WOW. Just WOW.

This book had me at "Hello" / page 1. Honestly speaking, I don't know whether the effect would have been the same had I just read it instead of listening to the audiobook, but the narrator, Ben Allen was simply superb in making all the different characters come to life and the story to rock and roll.

As for the story in general, I think it was very well-written. It was tight-paced, tense, grim, inventive and exciting from beginning to end with some powerful, intriguing characters (Christopher Wolfe, Nicolo Santi, the horrible Artifex Magnus).
The world-building was jaw-dropping, the characters likeable, the romance convincing, but understated. It all came together in an amazingly strong start to a new series. I have fallen hook, line and sinker for it.
