Adept Piers Anthony Book

I have always liked Piers Anthony. As a young teen, I read all the Adept Series and when I am old, I am still enjoying the skill and fun of his books. Old or young you will like them, if you like SciFi and just to relax.

The series grinds to a close.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

On it's own merits I would not recommend this book. However, it provides closure to the first two books which are good. So, by now you have already read the other two books and are enough invested you kind of have to read this one by default.

Has Juxtaposition turned you off from other books in this genre?

No. I still like Piers Anthony. When he is on his game he is a great author and hard to beat (read bio of a space tyrant series to see). Most people don't give him the credit he deserves. The problem is he is self-admitted money whore who will churn out substandard books as long as demand exists (see most of your later xanth books).

Have you listened to any of Traber Burns’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, he does a good job as always.

Could you see Juxtaposition being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Not really, the author puts enough questionable, icky sexual content in his books that it probably just wouldn't work. The first novel would probably make a great movie with some obvious revisions (everyone except the rich are naked all the time on the techno world).

Any additional comments?

Not a good book but at least it provides proper closure to the first two books.
