Publisher's Summary

After walking through the portal in the Tower of Swallows while narrowly escaping death, Ciri finds herself in a completely different Elven world. She is trapped, with no way out. Time does not seem to exist, and there are no obvious borders or portals to cross back into her home world.
But this is Ciri, the child of prophecy, and she will not be defeated. She knows she must escape to finally rejoin the Witcher, Geralt, and his companions - and to try to conquer her worst nightmare. Leo Bonhart, the man who chased, wounded and tortured Ciri, is still on her trail. And the world is still at war.

Great performance from Peter Kenny, as usual.
All pieces of the story finds right place and when you think that you know the ending ... Sapkowski deliver it in his own, great fashion.
You will probably consider playing The Whicher to extend pleasure of traveling from Mahakan to Dol Blatana in best company.

Sadly my least favourite of the series

I really struggled with this book, there were times that I almost wanted to give up which is such as shame as I am a huge fan of the series and games.

There were a lot of very confusing storylines, one chapter in particular which involves a big battle bounces from character to character (not main or even secondary characters) as well as going back and forth in time. It was hard to follow and I didn't particularly care either. I feel this book could have easily cut out a few storylines and been much more successful.
