The life of a star-studded royal has not been kind to 18-year-old Elena Watkins. With a Council breathing down her neck and a dragon that refuses to accept her as her rider, she must convince everyone that she is ready to rule Paegeia like her parents before her. But she has made a promise to her father King Albert, that she will not go looking for him and free the people of Etan. Elena has promised to never truly fulfill her destiny.
However, situations out of her control will soon force her to confront herself and the evil that seeks to destroy her. Elena must look inside herself to discover if she can defeat the approaching darkness, be accepted by the people of Paegeia, bring her dragon back to light, and fulfill the destiny written in their stars.

Disgusting and a waste of money

i regret wasting my money on this book series i wont read the next, not only the main characters have no development what so ever the story itself is disgusting and dragging, PS I WARN THE READERS THAT THERE IS A DETAILED AND DESCRIPTIVE GANG RAPE ON THE MAIN IDIOTIC PROTAGONIST! i regret the time wasted on this book, definitely stops here.

Ruined the series for me

Having the princes gang raped by no less than seven guys was way over the top and ruined the whole tone of what was a nice YA themed story...It didn’t even fit with the rest of the story I could’ve seen her thrown in the dungeon or abused or whatever but it was just way over-the-top the gang rape

It’s genuine as It can be, so emotional so frustrating, it has It all. Listening to her be so stubborn and Blake being so patient and at the same time very stubborn himself. Becky was me all the way when it came to being so over it all hahahaha. Still the reunions the trauma, that was all heartbreaking and heart warming, let’s see where her next book will take us. Can not wait!!!
