Summary

An abandoned house on a north woods lake, dreams of a lover from another time. Lindsay wants the hundred-year-old home to heal her troubled marriage, something unseen in the house wants her.

When her husband inherits his abandoned childhood home on a north woods lake, Lindsay Peterson is delighted. Strange things happen when she sees the decaying house for the first time: she knows how the rooms are arranged, knows of a gazebo that hasn't existed for fifty years. After they move in, dreams of a lover from another time haunt her sleep, then intrudes on her days with déjà vu until the present blurs with the past. A stirring of air caresses her with whispered touch. Then the touches become real.

Paranormal Thriller!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The House on Serpent Lake is a wonderful paranormal romance. A slightly different take on the usual ghost story it captivated me from the very first page. The plot will keep you intrigued, the characters well defined so much so, you'll want to keep listening to the very end.
