Really dull

I kind of liked the first book although I found it depressing in places. This book continues in the same way - lack of a real story and focus. I got pretty annoyed with it and just about finished it.

Amazing story

great story, the way lev has melded the two storys of Julia & Quentin was done beautifully couldn't stop listening and I'm hard to please when it comes to audiobooks. The Australian accent isn't as bad as people say, (I think people like being dramatic in their reviews a little too much. a truly great story and narrator.

Loved it!

What made the experience of listening to The Magician King, Book 2 the most enjoyable?

It's such a good book. I loved it. Quentin makes some stupid decisions, and at times I really hate him and want to punch him in the face, but overall, I think it's fantastic

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Magician King, Book 2?

Elliott!! Any part with him.

What does Mark Bramhall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He's great. My friend made me watch the first episode of the TV show and I couldn't do it, All their voices were wrong. He just adds something special to the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but it's too long. It took a few days, and I couldn't stop listening to it.

i found the first half of this book is mind numbingly boring, the second half picks up but ends on a downer.
