Summary

In the year 3104, United Planets Agent Jane Trellis finds new hope in cracking the illegal augment trade when time travelers Dr. Albert Snowden, his niece, Emily; V, and Evaran arrive at Roeth, a planet 740 light-years away from Earth.

With Jane’s new allies, she can finally check out the Dyson bubble that is under quarantine. On a personal note, she hopes to discover more about how her husband died while working there.

Experiencing timeline changes, meeting multiple timeline versions of people, rooting out a timeline anomaly, and facing off against a timeline threat were not things Jane had envisioned herself ever doing, yet she finds herself in the middle of all those issues. Becoming a time refugee was definitely not on her list of things to do.

Brilliant! Another great instalment

I was provided with a free copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review.

As with the first three books I was lucky enough to be able to get a free copy of this audiobook, but to be perfectly honest with you I would have been happy to pay for it.

Adair Hart has a wonderful sense of time and character development. As you learn more about the characters travelling with Evaran, you learn more about Evaran himself.

This is a very well written and an interesting and engaging instalment for the chronicles, I don't want to include information about Evaran's fellow travellers because it gives away parts of the plots from the first three books, but it is the easiest thing to say that I love this series.

It has engaging characters, action, interesting side stories and lots of ideas about the possible futures for humans. If you enjoy the idea of speculating what life could be like in a thousand years, or what it could have been like a thousand years ago, you will love these books.

A great book that flows and draws you in!

This book was given to me free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

This is a wonderfully well written book, it has a clean methodical approach to the complexities of time travel that is refreshing in its execution.

The characters are well written and engage you, wanting to learn more and grow with them throughout the story.

The story moves along at a perfectly matched pace between excitement, tension and context.
Despite this being book 4 of a series it is a easily read/listened to as a stand alone story due to the excellent referencing of context for events pertinent to the story line or character development.

The narration is perfectly suited to the characters and helps further immerse you into the story at all points. The character distinction is great, you never mistake the character being voiced for any others. I was surprised to learn that this was only narrated by one person.

If this book is any indication of the rest of the series I will thoroughly enjoy listening to the series.

For those who are wary of time travel science fiction this is not technically heavy or convoluted in any way. It is worth a read/listen.
