An awsome series

Mr Haywood you are a genius and the narrator is just perfect. You get sucked in to the post apocalypse zombie world. You will laugh and cry and some times both at the same time.

A good story, but a bit over the top

This series is generally a good story and is worth a listen. I get that is fiction, but I get unreasonable in places. It also introduces new mechanisms on how the zombies function, but conveniently forgets them when they would disrupt the plot progression.

First review after listening to nearly 200 books!

What made the experience of listening to The Undead the most enjoyable?

Finally a Zombie book based in the UK that we can relate to.

What other book might you compare The Undead to, and why?

I've read lots of Zombie books but I suppose the nearest thing to it for me is Keith C. Blackmore Mountain Man series. But the major difference is that its based in the UK and not the US for a change.

What does Dan Morgan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Clear and concise narrating. I tend to listen to audio books whilst driving.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of it. I have listened and enjoyed the first two books in the series but this book gripped me right from the start. I love the way a Night Shift Supermarket manager can transform into a fighting zombie warrior who leads thousands.

Any additional comments?

This is a brilliant read and I'd recommend it to any Zombie Apocalypse lovers!

still good

Still enjoying the series. dave is developing along naturally but isn't having one of those ridiculous 180 turn around. Darren's language is a bit irritating but I get they're trying to show how vile the place is becoming and how he's changed. the ending is good, heartbreaking too.
