Publisher's Summary

Sequestered in the blackness of the dreaded Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthas, surrounded by nameless creatures of evil, Raistlin Majere weaves a plan to conquer the darkness - to bring it under his control.
Crysania, a beautiful and devoted cleric of Paladine, tries to use her faith to lead Raistlin from the darkness. She is blind to his shadowed designs, and he draws her slowly into his neatly woven trap.
Made aware of Raistlin's plan, a distraught Caramon travels back in time to the doomed city of Istar in the days before the Cataclysm. There, together with the ever-present kender Tasslehoff, Caramon will make his stand to save Raistlin's soul.
Or so he believes.

Time of the twins

The story is really good like all the. Weiss and Hickman books, but what a terrible reader! Completely spoils the book. No difference in the different personalities, every one is read in the same monotenous voice at the same quite fast speed. I am sorry I wasted my money on this, more so,as I already bought the other two books ( with my credits) in this series.. I am better off just reading them . Really annoyed. Please don't let this man read anymore books,it is not fair on us readers wasting our one a month credits

Slightly Disappointed

Would you listen to Time of the Twins again? Why?

Yes - I am a fan of the serires

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I listened to this after completing the Chronicles series narrated by Paul Boehmer. Paul’s narration was far far superior, with each character having an individual voice. Ax Norman’s character portrayal is almost monotone in comparison. Also, the pronunciation of names I find annoying. Sometimes the pronunciation of a name changes three of four times from the appearance of a character before Ax settles into something comfortable. ‘Tasselhoff’ comes out fine, Tass comes out like ‘Toss’ most of the time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If only we had the time to listen end to end...
