Summary

From the best-selling author of the Graham's Resolution series comes book three in the Surrender the Sun series.

In an impossible situation, our story of a mini ice age starts with hopefulness spanning to heartbreak. How will Bishop and the others survive impossible odds as they seek to bring those they love to shelter. And is the Osprey, and all those on board, truly gone forever? How will Jax and the others make their way on such a perilous journey? The brutality of survival in this post-apocalyptic world leaves little hope for humanity after the Maunder Minimum. Perhaps they're lost after all.

Well Written & Well Performed

I loved these books! All three could be stand alone novels, but as a trilogy they were fantastic! well written, considered and researched. The characters all hand inherentl strengths and weaknesses - just like real people. And such a change to have an apocalyptic novel that doesn't involve zombies!

Something about Kevin

I am not sure if he is the only apocalyptic narrator out there, but he is definitely one of the best! He really brings the story to Cinema quality visual! The author did an amazing job on this series!

boom!!! good read. But some disappointments too

m6 favourite voice over guy too just made this book perfect. would have like a chapter on jax at the end as his cliff hanger just got white washed. would like to have seen his reunion with his mate and with the little girl he had supposedly imprinted. bit careless to forget that as the reader had not. would have been nice to see them develop a relationship. Would a been funny to see jax adapt to living with a community and get it on finally with cook. lots if disappointing loose ends. but still a great read.

did not dissappoint

Loved this. This really picked up speed, and didn't disapoint. I was impressed that the epilogue was Jaxs and his pseudo-grandson, and Jax finding signs of spring. And I would like to know how the characters evolved over the 12 years in the silo. Did Morrow, Walt and Luna survive? What happened to Cassie and Yeagers relationship? (a love novella?) Did Bishop and Maeve have kids?
