After the death of her parents in a bombing raid, Mary Jones discovers a secret in the pages of her father’s diaries. Her search for the truth brings her to Cliffehaven on the south coast. While the first few Beach View books were engaging and full of action, these last two are a bit Mills and Boon. Lots of happy romances, handsome square chinned men and lovely young women. Although great to hear about the old characters I would prefer a bit more tension and, yes, unhappiness again...
