Summary

The sudden disappearance of Sara Weston is a mystery to her 17-year-old son, Keith. Keith is healing from an arson attack, and in Sara's absence, he must face a challenging situation alone: the release of his half sister, Maggie, from prison. Maggie, who was partially responsible for the fire. Somehow the two must find a way to overcome the past, because Maggie and her family may be all Keith has left.

Incredibly moving follow up to Before the Storm

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes - deals with a range of emotions.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Keith - he was so troubled that it was hard to see a way through for him. Sarah's story was the saddest of all.

What does Abby Craden and Kris Koscheski bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

They bring the characters alive.

Any additional comments?

I hesitated buying this book as I thought it would spend too much time going over the same ground as the first book. However, the different perspective of the 'main' characters in this book brought a whole new dimension to the story. So sad and very moving.

erm..

Not her best work, slightly disappointed. Its like on a music album, where you get the rubbish songs the artist used to fill it up... this is DC's album filler.
