You’re not alone
I initially downloaded this book due to going through a tough period in my life leading to losing interests in tasks and hobbies I once excelled in.
This book made my realise that I’m not alone in my experiences giving me great strength, knowledge and tips on how to overcome my struggles.

Very informative and pragmatic
This book provides mindsets that can help us pursue the things that we really want in our life, which is sometimes more than applying sheer forces in doing something to achieve the goal.
This book is certainly worth a read. It is amazing that how people can change their daily habits by simply applying technique in this book.

Answers questions and doubts about self discipline
Would you listen to Self-Discipline again? Why?
Yes, great book. Ian Tuhovsky nails every question I had on self discipline and is clear not to confuse "willpower" with self discipline. From other books I have read including this one, willpower is temporary and it is important to understand the difference. Ian goes into detail to answer questions such as how to use self discipline, and why. Also how to prevent burnout and meditate.
Any additional comments?
As a full time employee and part time grad student self discipline is a must have. I have used the concepts in this book to assure I am completing tasks for work as well as assuring I have time for family, prayer, and exercise. Sometimes failure does happen, but as Ian mentioned in his book to move forward and not dwell on the past.

Self discipline: mental toughness
This is the topic that brings one to success, i recommend listening to Ian Tuhovsky’s work. Randy Streu does a great job of narrating.
