Great guide to get you started with stretching
I have a friend that stretches every morning before she goes to work and she absolutely swears by it and so I was intrigued to see exactly what the benefits are and how to do it properly without injuring myself. This is a very detailed guide that breaks down a number of stretching exercises and techniques and in to levels of difficulty so that you can build up your own stretching routine and not overwhelm your body with stretches that are too advanced.
I had no idea how important stretching was for improving your posture, flexibility, balance and co-ordination. I feel educated as to the dos and don’ts of stretching and definitely want to start implementing it in my life.

Stretching before exercising is very important as pain in the muscles can be avoided. I wasn’t aware of how beneficial stretching was. It helps improving circulation and minimising stress. This book has pointed out the importance of stretching for relaxing purposes as well. It offers a great set of exercises for different body parts and levels.
You can also learn how to stretch properly through 4 basic types of stretches. I wasn't being used to stretching a lot after waking up so this is a very good new habit for me. I will do lot more stretching during the week. This is an excellent book that needs to be read!

"Stretching" - give flexibility to your body!
“Stretching” by Ace McCloud contains many handy tips how to stretch your body in most proper and effective way. Stretching is natural movement but we can use this as everyday routine to keep our body in great condition.
McCloud shows you how to warm up and practise basic and most advance exercise. General stretch divides into 4 groups like dynamic, ballistic, static and isometric. All of them are very detailed described and supported by examples. We can see hove many variation can be used and different combination. Also timing is provided that is very valuable. Many exercises come from yoga poses and have name like swastikasana or lotus shoulder. For me very important is back stretch because if you don’t do them properly you can hurt yourself.
That is why “Stretching” as a great guide for health and safety is so important. Safe and easy is cat stretch that allowed you to touch the ground by your palms. You can learn how to rotate your hips, arms and bend your knees and legs in different position. Also valuable are hands and neck stretching that you can do even sitting and watching TV! Also from “
Stretching” you can find useful equipment like a resistance band, an exercise ball and weights. You can see how nice and funny can be stretching routine and how fantastic you can feel after that. Highly recommended!
