works fine, I guess it's applicable and practical.
It's a non theoretical work piece with out two it only serves to equip the individual who can then use it's valuable information on the needs that so rarely are made this simple to understand. when in need seek out this book and others like it. the author overrides our basic human intention to throw in the towel on love what ever the situation.

Great book by a great man.
One of the best books I have ever read. So in-depth it will amaze you how much you learn about human nature and it at its basics how marriage is such a tricky minefield.
The book gives you clear and concise ways to attempt to end an affair and restore your marriage . It is not for the faint hearted though. Dr. Harley and his wife have devoted their professional lives to helping people recover from an affair and restore their marriages. They are so passionate about their work and it shows through in this book. I have even spoke with them as a consequence of my own marriage troubles.
A well worth read for those who feel that their marriage is under threat, going through and coming out the other side.
Have faith, follow the plan and you will achieve an outcome. It is always best to try rather than live with the regret of not trying to save your marriage. There is fantastic advice contained within. Now read on......

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Sad. The majority of this book really coddles and protects the integrity of the adulterer. Very little accountabilty for the cheater. This book also has little regard for, and mostly neglects, the feelings of the betrayed, and puts most of the heavy lifting of rebuilding on the betrayed's wounded shoulders. Insinuates it as mostly the betrayed's fault for "pushing" the cheater to into their affair.
While both partners are equally responsible for the problems in their marriage, that does not give anyone the right to bring another person into the marriage. No one is holding a gun to the adulterers head. There are many better options.
Plus... Sue is a materialistic bitch.
Would you be willing to try another book from Willard F. Harley Jr. and Jennifer Harley Chalmers ? Why or why not?
No. The distribution of blame and rebuilding is not fair and balanced.

wish we had this at the beginning
Would you consider the audio edition of Surviving an Affair to be better than the print version?
My husband and I listened to this book and it has a lot of GREAT advice and tips. I am a big urked that there is no pdf to download for the pages he talks about for his book. All I know is all married couples should listen to this...so that an affair WILL NEVER happen. But if you are in the midst of an affair or know it is happening, get this...it will help . I think the audible version is a great way for a couple to listen or someone who is stuck driving and needs to learn important things...to easy to put a book down...this is in your ear. ONLY bad thing...no pdf.
