The Delai Lama is a Beautiful Soul

I really enjoyed the book, read well and full of great information from many perspectives. What I truly love about this book is that reading it from a Christian perspective the Delai Lama is very accepting and surprisingly encouraging in my faith.

God Bless him and may he have a peaceful and loving life.

The greatest piece of information I have taken away from this book is, True enlightened beings live to help and create peace for all sentient life, meaning they do no support animal suffering but rather make it their goal to create peace and love for all life forms on earth. Such a beautiful message and one I will love by... I haven't eaten meat for 2 years and this book has encouraged me to never do it again.

Have a great day. 5*

ABSOLUTE CODSWALLOP.

It’s 98% dumb questions and dull, unintelligent interpretations by Howard Cutler and 2% words of wisdom by the Dalai Lama. I genuinely think the Dalai Lama was getting pissed off with him throughout the interviews. I could only manage a third of the book and felt a bit conned.

It has it’s moments but it is mostly about the author him self.

There are som interesting insights but the author seems more interested in formulating clever questions to Dalai Lama than the answers.

Wonderful!!

I have listened to a lot of Spiritual Books and I particularly love Ekhart Tolle and Ram Dass.
What is so amazing and different about this book is that we not only get the incredible teachings straight from the mouth of the Dalai Lama, but we also hear the thoughts of the author who is a western Psychologist, which allows us to fully understand and relate to the Buddhist teachings. This is done with a lot of humility and honesty which I really appreciated.
I will be listening again to assimilate all the teachings which are priceless.
Thank you! 🙏

Good book to listen to

Good advice particularly on relationships and anxiety. I enjoyed the narrator' story telling and he was able to capture the essence of the stories and conversations.
