Born in rural Bessemer, Alabama, Radric Delantic Davis became Gucci Mane in East Atlanta, where the rap scene is as vibrant as the dope game. His name was made as a drug dealer first, rapper second. His influential mixtapes and street anthems pioneered the sound of rap music. He inspired and mentored a new generation of artists and producers: Migos, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Zaytoven, Mike Will Made-It, Metro Boomin.

well worth it to get an understating into all of Gucci's personal troubles, woes , success, lock down. Great to see how Gucci turned his life around amidst all the adversity and trauma

A case study on how to become a better person
An inspirational story about truly inspirational change. This autobio has helped me understand some of my own mishaps. But more importantly how I may control the direction my world spins. Thank you Gucci! Stay the course.

excellent story very entertaining
i enjoyed every part of it even though it does feel like some parts where watered down so that it could reach a wider audience. despite that still an awesome book . gucci mane story is very interesting.

Gucci should have narrated this
A very interesting memoir but the narrator did not sound southern at all and overdid it with the exclamations.. this detracted a bit from the experience.. it felt lacking in emotion.
Besides his film role, all I knew about Gucci Mane was the car incident and his face tattoo so it was fascinating to hear about his experiences and his place in Hip Hop.

Enjoyed it
Found Gucci Mane's story interesting and inspirational on how he fought his way through it and is now in a good place. Although I've never listened to his music in the past, the life story of GM was eye opening.

Brilliant
it was really interesting. loved that he knew what he wanted but despite his obstacles and some bad decisions. he learnt from his negative situation. it was inspirational for me.......
