Summary

Claire has her share of challenges. Like being a genius in a school that favours beauty over brains; homicidal girls in her dorm, and finding out that her college town is overrun with the living dead.

On the up side, she has a new boyfriend with a vampire-hunting dad. But when a local fraternity throws the Dead Girls' Dance, hell is really going to break loose.

Intriguing keeps you excited to keep listening

I enjoyed reading this book just like the first it keeps you going and what you imagines going to happen etc actually don't and it surprised you it's good? I liked that.
Only thing I can think in to slightly say dislike is the characters sound younger than they're age i think but that's not bad but I'd prob say best for young teen readers.

Dead Girl's Dance

When you live in a town run by vampires, the last thing you need is to be associated with a vampire slayer. Frank Collins, father to Clair's boyfriend, Shayne, is out for revenge against vampires for the ruin of his family, and he doesn't care who he drags down with him, even his own son. Shayne must decide whose side he's on, but when a vampire is murdered, he is the number 1 suspect and the vampires are out to kill. Clair and Eve must fight to save him while Michael has a terrifying choice of his own to make. This is the second book in the Morganville Vampires series, and it's every bit as addictive as the first.

My favourite series 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Following the lastbook there was so many more moments where I had to keep on listening! I thought I was going to finish it in one night, I said to myself "last chapter, then I'm going to sleep", but I was awake till 5am I thought I was going to finish the whole thing!
I have the physical copy of all the books, but there's something that makes it seem so much more real when being read.
I've got to be honest, from the first chapter of the first book I didn't think I'd get on with the narrator.
But after that I wouldn't have it any other way.

Now to start book 3! 📙 🌟

Silly fun.

I rather enjoyed the story . The characters are fun and it was all very entertaining. The only thing that seriously bothers me is the narrator. She puts on this very whiny voice. It's extremely grating. Her male voices are akin to Monty Python , though vice versa. I swear dogs can hear her when she does Eve's parts. If you can get past the god awful narration, then the book is good fun.

Why is this not a tv series yet!

I’ve read the full series of these twice and now going into the audible version to have them read to me, they’re so on the edge that although things come back to me it’s still nail biting!

Narrator is a small bit annoying still, more so when she pretends to shout for the characters.

Rachel please get signed up for a series!! Addicted!

Attention gripping !

Action, Romance, Thriller, Suspense Humour and so many twists and turns you are hanging on the edge of your seat, the edge of every word and 1 chapter is never enough !

I am a huge fan of the Morganville Vampires Series. I’m am especially loving listening to these audio versions the narrator does an amazing job at recreating the story and I can do vividly close my eyes and picture it all!

I really impressed with how she manages to give a separate narrative to all the characters.

quite gripping

Enjoyed this book, after listening to the first one i had to get this one. The only complaint i have really is that sometimes the females are made to sound a bit whiney. will get book 3 when it comes out on audible, which i hope won't be too long.
