A young bisexual British lord embarks on an unforgettable Grand Tour of Europe with his best friend/secret crush. An 18th-century romantic adventure for the modern age written by This Monstrous Thing author Mackenzi Lee - Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda meets the 1700s.

Henry “Monty” Montague doesn’t care that his roguish passions are far from suitable for the gentleman he was born to be. But as Monty embarks on his grand tour of Europe, his quests for pleasure and vice are in danger of coming to an end. Not only does his father expect him to take over the family’s estate upon his return, but Monty is also nursing an impossible crush on his best friend and traveling companion, Percy.

So Monty vows to make this yearlong escapade one last hedonistic hurrah and flirt with Percy from Paris to Rome. But when one of Monty’s reckless decisions turns their trip abroad into a harrowing manhunt, it calls into question everything he knows, including his relationship with the boy he adores.

Witty, dazzling, and intriguing at every turn, The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue is an irresistible romp that explores the undeniably fine lines between friendship and love.

Don't miss Felicity's adventures in The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy, the highly anticipated sequel!

hilarious, well read, heart renching and fun!!!!

I'm listening to it again. Beautiful fun imagery, the characters are real and gritty with an excellent realness in emotion. for anyone who uses humour as a defender mechanism this is a realistic rendition of how it feels! I love it.

One of the best reads I’ve had in a long time!

I loved this book so much! The writing was amazing and the characters were amazing and the narrator was amazing
Basically everything was amazing. The narrators voice really suited the character of Monty, and he was really good at putting expression into what he was saying!
The story it’s self was emotional and funny and captivating. I may of shed a few tears and I may of laughed out loud in public while listening to this book.
I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good LGBT romance/adventure/drama novel. :D

One of the best audio books I've ever listened to.

The narrator was amazing and perfect as Monty's voice and for the story set in the 1700s. This is the feel good adventure novel with a great set of main characters, all three of them distinctive and real. The language is creative and humourus, and I was smiling and laughing the whole way through it. Would highly recommend.

Exciting & Wonderfully Narrated

I really enjoyed Christian Coulson's narration of this book and loved the book itself! I felt like the characters were developed throughout the book, with more details about them being unravelled as you listen.
Definitely a must listen for me! Haven't been this engulfed in a book for a long time

A wonderful listen

Monty is a little hard to like to begin with but I did warm up to him. I loved Percy and Felicity and their adventure in Europe was a lot of fun. The narrator's voice was perfect and enhanced the experience.

Delightfully naughty, genial depth

Truly one of the best stories I’ve heard in years. To me it is ‘that book I wish I had written’. Light years ahead in terms of normalising sexual ambiguity, despite the 18th century backdrop. Lee’s world is richly sensuous, you can almost taste and smell every facet within. Coulson’s voice and performance does suitable justice to this truly cracking book.
