Tears a plenty more good than sad.

Not often a book makes me cry. But perhaps being narrated by the author, the man having experienced and continues to experience his family's life with their amazing Rowan. Their open mindedness to try anything to help their son and ultimately their family. The raw emotion hits right in the heart. I felt great empathy reading/listening to their journey. I wish them all well xx

An amazing listen 😊

I didn't want this book to end...It is an incredible story of hope, heart break and happiness.
For those with an interest in autism, this book is so interesting and thought provoking.
For those with little or no knowledge of autism, you will be utterly amazed at the struggle and perseverance of one family's bid to help their son.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Amazingly honest and Insightful

I loved the sometimes brutal honesty of this book. The last chapter gave me goosebumps I was so delighted that some of the proceeds of the book go to help other kids like Rowan find the magic of horses. ♡

Watch the film and definitely listen to the book

I had seen the film before but watched it again after listening to Rupert's book. A book and film written through the big heart of an amazing family! Rupert tells his family's' story how it really is with tears and laughter!

This is story not only for people who deal with Autism or those who are interested in horses and their empathic power but for everybody to dare to go beyond the usual and seek physical and spiritual healing.

Rupert's reading style is fresh, humorous, serious and curious...brilliant listen!

Amazing story!

This story is so inspirational! It is fantastic also to hear it read by the father who wrote it, I watched the documentary film afterwards but it was nowhere near as good as the book. Too much was cut out - however it was interesting to compare the two. I would definitely recommend this amazing journey, and adventure and story of endurance. Loved it!

Amazing story

The way it was read was wonderful. You could feel all the emotions pain, fear, heartache and the happiness that came at the end. Loved it.
