Summary
The fourth book in the best-selling Heroes of Olympus series - set in the explosive world of Percy Jackson - now available in this unabridged audio download.
The stakes have never been higher. If Percy Jackson and Annabeth fail in their quest, there'll be hell on Earth. Literally. Wandering the deadly realm of Tartarus, every step leads them further into danger. And, if by some miracle they do make it to the Doors of Death, there's a legion of bloodthirsty monsters waiting for them.
Meanwhile, Hazel and the crew of the Argo II have a choice: to stop a war or save their friends. Whichever road they take one thing is certain - in the Underworld, evil is inescapable.

Definitely recommend
Great story! I am loving this series so much. Good narrator too! House of Hades is a gripping adventure, and the amazing ways all the characters get fleshed out even further in this book is delightful.

Why change the narrator ?
Didn't liked the change of narrators, I would've preferred if It had sticked to the same narrator untill the end...

Not just for kids
Where does The House of Hades rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Pretty high up. Its well read and interesting. I must be hooked I have the whole set so far.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The House of Hades?
Frank fighting a huge bunch of monsters on a bridge in Venice. He's usually a very quiet character and he suddenly grew (literally as it turned out).
Which character – as performed by Nick Chamian – was your favourite?
Bob the giant. He is such a sweetie.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Through Hell and back?
Any additional comments?
I am not a kid. I have a classics degree. I just enjoy these books, they tackle the myths in an engaging way. Go Romans and Greeks!

Love this series so much
I’m not a fan of the way this reader voices the characters but it was pretty decent still!

monster installment!
All the usual grip and drama of the series, the author knows how to pack a punch. Had a blast of a time listening to it and wanted to get back to it every spare minute. well recommend the series all over and other more literal translation style books would be the Stephen Fry series on Greek legend, mythos and hero's, both of which are funny and bring the old stories to life and a better understanding of Rick Riordan's characters and a wealth of opportunity within his world. can't wait to listen to the last one! I forgot to mention that the reader change felt a bit different but Nick done a fantastic job and has broadened the field of character tones and accents
