Summary

17-year-old Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father... until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centrepiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms - first love, the love between parents and children - that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts... and heal them.

Nicholas pulls is off again

Wow another great book, love the story, I liked the fact it was about young love, and teenagers confusion about parent motives, so real to life. Thanks

it's amazing!

Favourite story by Nicholas Sparks so far, and the two narrators have played the settings to the fullest.

Enthralled.

As always, Nicholas Sparks entertains from start to finish. I wasn't so sure about the narrators at 1st, but they grow on you!

Nicholas Sparks addict

Very biased review as I'm listening to this book having read it previously and I am a sucker for it. Does not disappoint on audible.

fantastic moving story.

Where does The Last Song rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Wow, definitely at the top. It has everything, a story you can easily relate to, characters that you feel you know, some twists that you never thought of, just a very well written story of a family.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Last Song?

Finding more about Steve. Loved his character, near the end but not saying as it would spoil it.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

When steve and Jonas hid the piano.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Families, thoughts, truth and unconditional love.

Any additional comments?

Very enjoyable story. Made me cry but that was because I felt I knew the characters.
