teen girl fiction
could not go on with it. The story could of been ok, however I was unable to get anywhere near the end. I did try and wanted it to get better, but this is like the brats do apocalypse or some teen chick romance. Stay away if your over 17 years of age .

I really, REALLY tried to get through the series, and am sure, if they were read by almost anyone else, I would have breezed through, as the stories are fine. The first one was read by someone who either had snorted her morning coffee, or had little cartoon blue birds flying around her head, her voice so Disney, although the S L O W elongated drawl of her speech was so excruciating, I had to speed it up. The second one is almost certainly the Word to Text woman, so robotic and flat! The third was a little better, but by then I had completely lost the will to don my ear buds. Get better narrators, and all will be well..

Would you try another book from Alexandria Clarke and James Hunt and/or the narrators?
Nope! The narration on the first book was ok. They story was completely unbelievable. The main character is a man hating, super hero feminist. So unless you hate men I'd steer clear! The second book I couldn't even listen to. The narration is monotone and boring. Again another super hero woman. I didn't get very far with this one because he was so hard to listen to. I have no idea about the rest of the box set. I will be asking for a credit refund on this. I bought this because I have an off the grid property I am fixing up and wanted some entertainment while working. This having 40 hours of story I thought it would be perfect. Don't waste your time or credit.
Has The Pulse Super Boxset turned you off from other books in this genre?
I love this genre. Just not this boxed set. Skip this and go for A. American, Kevin Peirce, Forchstine.
Would you be willing to try another one of the narrators’s performances?
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Pulse Super Boxset?
I would start over.
