Summary

Samuel Hoenig answers questions for a living. And as a man with Asperger's syndrome, his unique personality helps him ferret out almost any answer there is. But his latest question is a rather odd one: who stole a preserved head from the Garden State Cryonics Institute?

Arriving at the scene of the crime accompanied by his new colleague, Ms. Washburn, Samuel finds that what started out as a theft has escalated to murder. With suspects and motives emerging at a rapid rate, one final question remains: can Samuel's powers of deduction uncover a killer in the face of overwhelming odds?

Exceeded expectations!

I was anticipating a boilerplate crime novel, this is better written and a bit out of the ordinary. Being written in the first person from the viewpoint of a neurodiverse individual also added some unexpected depth.

Overall, this was a run and compelling romp, and I'd happily pick up the next in the series.

Delightful - A real pleasure

i was hooked from the very first. Humourous, intriguing and at times educational, i was carried along by the main character's analytical perspective which highlighted the occasional absurdities of human behaviour and language.

A very nice surprise.

This was a very nice surprise, good characters and superbly narrated. Narrated at a cracking pace, I will certainly listen to more.

Curiously funny!

A curiously funny tale, with well woven Asperger perspective, altogether an very enjoyable audible
Experience, though probably heavily dependant on the
Brilliant narrator.

Cosy with a difference.

If its the authors aim to teach us more about Aspergers, ( which I know very little about I'm sad to admit) ,while keeping us entertained with a great cosy mystery, then he is achieving his aim.
I'm off to get the next book. Great characters, great story and great narration. what's not to like?

Great fun

Amusing romp with Aspergers thrown in. The narrator tried to keep a flat tone to match the main character - but this makes it tricky not to sound boring.

Very enjoyable

Nice little mystery with good strong characters well portrayed. A great insight into Asperger’s syndrome- with Samuel explaining his feelings (or lack thereof) wonderfully well.
