RELUCTANT IS ONE THING
Okay being a reluctant amazon is one thing, but continually repeating the whole thing about not being ready or tough or good enough gets old after awhile. This had the potential to be a good sister kick but book. They had the potential to have a lot attitude but the author falls flat in illustrating that with each of our amazon ladies .The comic relief was bad. The highlander was awful. And you fine yourself wanting to scream if he utters Becamine one more time. The narration wasn’t good, but the story didn’t give her much to work with. The book was to long. I don’t know if I should blame the evolution of this bad book on the author or the editors who could have clean and trimmed this book up. I can’t recommend it.

The Voice that bored me to tears
I began this book feeling optimistic, but was let down by the drone of the narrators voice. I believe the book has great potential, and I may just read it on my own without the narration, but I couldn't finish this book. This morning I literally had to talk myself into listening to it some more, and after 15 seconds of narration, I had to stop and just remove it from my phone.
As for the story itself, it is similar to the Percy Jackson series, just a more adult version. Great characters, a good plot, and definitely something different than what I've read so far. There wasn't any kink, but some steamy parts made me feel warm and tingly inside. Of course listening to the narrator read those parts probably diminished the feelings somewhat. I give the story a good rating, but I think it could have gotten a better rating if the author had hired a different narrator to read her book.
