Fabulous listening. thoroughly entertaining.
the plots keep you guessing. most episodes are well played out. the last episode with Dennis green a real bonus.

Brilliant
Absolutely brilliant. The late, great Vincent Price at his best. Some nice, well written stories and each one is about 25 mins long. Every once in a while Tom Conway takes on the lead but also does a remarkable good job.

Not what I had expected
What would have made The Saint better?
I think if the information available before purchase had made it clear that it was a collection of short (very short) radio shows, with quite a lot of signature tune at the beginning and end of each, this would have helped. I was expecting something that ran on throughout.

I haven't listened to books by Leslie Charteris before.

I'm not sure really how to answer this question, as I only listened to about 15% of it.

It does have a lovely period quality, and I think if someone had edited down the play-out and play-in music it would be fine.
