Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The Sapphire Widow by Dinah Jefferies, read by Gabrielle Glaister.
Ceylon, 1935. Louisa Reeve, the daughter of a successful British gem trader, and her husband, Elliot, a charming, thrill-seeking businessman, seem like the couple who have it all. Started well but fell apart very quickly.

The story plodded along without any character grabbing the attention. Various Story lines started then did not go anywhere. It was very predictable. I got to the last 2. Chapters and then gave up. I did not care what happened to any ot them.
