Summary

Two women, centuries apart, are joined through a tattered journal as they contend with God, husbands, and even themselves...until they fall into the arms of the One who loves them unconditionally.

Sierra Madrid's life has just been turned upside down when she discovers the handcrafted quilt and journal of her ancestor Mary Kathryn McMurray, a young woman who was uprooted from her home only to endure harsh conditions on the Oregon Trail. Though the women are separated by time and circumstance, Sierra discovers that many of the issues they face are remarkably similar. By following Mary Kathryn's example, Sierra learns to surrender to God?s sovereignty and unconditional love.

Really great book

I loved this story that was read so well. It took me on various twists and turns but still flowed. I’d highly recommend. The narration was really good to and the voices didn’t grate.
Thank you Francine once again for a great book.

An emotional and beautiful story

Any additional comments?

This book is similar to Francine's other love stories although this is a 2 in 1 offer where you get 2 moving stories of life's trials and tribulations set in 2 very different environments but beautifully blended into an uplifting and heartwarming ending.

This Novel is just brilliant.

I love this novel. The characters and the lessons within the story of God in relationship with us was so inspirational. I loved Catherine Farr. I wasn't too keen on the person reading the novel. It was just at times, I didn't think her voice suited parts of it. But I'm so thankful I did get to listen to this brilliant book.
