Summary

Time was running out for Garion and his companions in their quest to recover Garion's infant son and heir. If they could not locate the Place Which Is No More, then Zandramas, the Child of Dark, would use Garion's son in a rite that would raise the Dark Prophecy to eternal domination over the universe. Only the Seeress of Kell could reveal the site of that mysterious place, and she could only do that once Garion and Polgara had fulfilled an ancient prophecy in the mountain fastness of the Seers.

Kell itself was closed to Zandramas, but her dark magic could force the knowledge she needed from one of Garion's party. She laid her traps and dispatched her foul minions, determined to claim the world for the Dark God. But Garion would let nothing stand between him and his son.

The Seeress Of Kell by David Eddings

This is the final installment in David Eddings' the "Malorean" comparable, with the "Belgariad" to Tolkien's "The Lord Of The Rings" in its breathtaking epic reaches, humour and pathos. Here, the band of travellers must reach their final goal, and the two prophecies, must at last decide who will reign supreme over the world. But Garion must choose one of his friends to become a god, and one must die ... but who? Read on and find out, unstopable and magical.

The seeress of Kell

Absolutely brilliant series. Cameron Beierle at his best. So sad it is finished. Like losing a family and friends

End of a great saga

Love it but I have to admit, it is just a little sexist and a little dated.
Well worth listening to.
I love Cameron Beierle - thought his voices were fantastic

A perfect end

On occasion this series could be faulted for timing issues, the apparent dragging out of the 'b' story and sudden rush of the 'a' story. This the final book demonstrates that the preconception of the main and sub-story can be flipped. This book suffers no timing issues using its now detailed history to really expand the story and add to the suspense and the conclusions are just perfect, rounding the whole series.
