Summary

From the best-selling author of The Chronicles of St Mary's. The Nothing Girl has grown up....
It's life as usual at Frogmorton Farm - which is to say that events have passed the merely eccentric and are now galloping headlong towards the completely bizarre.
Once again Jenny struggles to stay afloat in the stormy seas of matrimony with her husband, Russell Checkland, together with an unlikely mix of Patagonian Attack Chickens, Jack the Sad Donkey and Mrs Crisp's mysterious boyfriend. The old favourites are still around, of course. There's Marilyn the Omnivorous Donkey, Russell's ex-girlfriend Don't Call Me Franny and the neurotic Boxer, currently failing to deal with butterfly trauma.
So nothing much is new...except for the mysterious figure dogging Jenny's steps and who, if she didn't know better, she would swear was her sinister cousin Christopher, last seen being hurled from the house by her wayward husband. He couldn't possibly be stupid enough to come back and try again...could he?

From beginning to end, a brilliant audio book.

Good people, bad peoples, warmth, villainy, love, laughter and tears (happy ones!). Once again Jodi Taylor has produced an amazing story that I found hard not listen to constantly. The narration was the icing on the cake. I absolutely loved it. Will there be an “Everything Girl”? I hope so.

Patogonian attack chickens!!

Another emotional rollercoaster. Laugh out loud, hold my breath and shed tears of sorrow. Not a book to read in public!!
Perfectly read.
Love every minute.

a lovely sequel!

There were a lot of negative reviews for this and it made me wary of listening to this, but I had a wonderful experience. Is the storyline as good as the first book? Nah, but for me, it didn't need to be. This isn't SERIOUS LITERATURE. This is quirky, fun, zany, sweet fiction. I love the characters, Taylor's writing, and the world of this book so much, I didn't mind that the plot wasn't thick and complicated. I would truly listen to the mundane everyday lives of these characters and this world because I love it so much. Maybe keep your expectations low to enjoy this book? Or don't expect it to be identical to the first book? Anyway, I loved. it!

Best Book Ever

I wish that the Frogmorten Farm Series could keep going! I loved these books so so much! Jodi Taylor has a way of writing that makes you fall in love with the characters and is laugh out loud funny. I want to read her other books for this reason but I absolutely fell in love with this series and want more!
