insightful
It took time for me to get into this book but I think it was more the fact that I wasn't ready to take on the content. Once I tuned in with more intent I began to listen to it religiously everyday. It revealed so much about human nature, relationships, struggles.... life. A fantastic insight to Tao. A book that will continue to reveal more with each read. Highly recommended. Narrator delivered perfectly.

A good place to start learning about Taoism
For someone just beginning to learn about this fascinating and thought provoking ancient philosophy, I found this to be a lovely, gentle lead into the subject. It has definitely wet my appetite to learn more about the Tao Te Ching.

Very useful and calming
I found this book very easy to listen to whilst I worked and found that it benefited my overall mood whilst doing so. The lessons within are very impactful and thought-provoking. I found myself effortlessly recontextualising areas of my life.

This book is like a breath of fresh air, with timeless wisdom and a gentle guiding light. It's something I will come back to time and again. Alan Cohen is enchanting. Just purchased his explanation on ACIM and can't wait to get stuck in.

I enjoyed this book
I have read a lot of Spiritual books, most of which refer to the Tao at some point. This book was therefore helpful to obtain an understanding of the Tao with simple language and stories to illustrate the learnings.
