A Classic and one of the first ever Sci-Fi stories

What did you like most about The War of the Worlds?

Just an enjoyable listen.

What other book might you compare The War of the Worlds to, and why?

War of the World is one of the first sci-fi books so there is no book to compare it to!

Which character – as performed by Michael Ward – was your favourite?

Michael Ward did a fine job with the narration.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Being just over 6 hours long, it is easy to listen all in one go although for me a I listened couple of hours at a time.
