A Gem Of A Find

I decided to give this one a try because I had a free credit and often like to look for new dramas and saw it. What a gem. This series could have quite easily been shown on Sky Atlantic it is that good. Acting is top draw, sound design and music selections ar stella and the pacing is perfect.

I must also credit Audible because when I initially downloaded it, the entirety of series two was missing. I wrote to them explaining this and now it's all here - the joys of cloud computing.

Anyone who likes conspiricy dramas will eat this one up. Now, if you don't mind, I have to make tracks because I want to listen all over again.

Had me gripped from start to finish,

Wow this audio did not disappoint, it keeps you guessing as you follow hellen through each chapter. Just when you think you have worked it out it spins your idea on its head.

I listened to it in the car and found my self staying sat in my car at home till the chapter ended I was that gripped.

The actors did an amazing job and makes you feel like your part of the story.

This is a must listen for any audible listener and well worth the money.

Breathless Acting That Gets a Bit Bonkers!

This is certainly an interesting find, it's a very well acted sci-fi drama with a gorgeous soundscape - I'd listen to it again just to hear the screaming jet engines that play such a big part of it! Romola Garai who plays Helen is to be particularly commended for a succession of stressed scenes, screams and acting groggy as she come round from her character's latest mistreatment. The storyline in series 1 is fairly bonkers but I think original and interesting enough to keep most people entertained.

Series 2 which is actually a much shorter two-episode prequel to Series 1 had similar quality sound and acting and a vaguely equivalent level of bonkersness. Anyone who wants to listen to it first can forward to 1 hour 34minutes and 30 Seconds to go to listen to it safely without risking hearing anything to spoil the first series. I wouldn't particularly advise it, the real value is in series 1.

I'm not as sold on it as many others seem to be though i can see much of the attraction.

Really gripping audio book. How the original listeners would of waited a week in-between episodes I’ll never know.

Don't Bother!

This audio book was boring I was losing the will finish it but I did but only because i paid for it. The main character in the story got on my last nerves her pathetic whinging and whinging almost drove me to drink. Don't bother!

Maybe the future

Thought provoking drama, nice little twist in an albeit short second series, but it compliments the first nicly, in the first, just when you think you've worked it out, along comes another twist that sends you of (Track) pardon the pun, narrated superbly by the cast, I'd recommend bed and lights off to send you into some future world that just might happen, enjoy!

Well performed but the story was just silly

The dialogues were delivered by a fantastic cast in an excellent production, but I didn't like the story. Maybe because this particular type of science fiction does not appeal to me, I found the plot silly and pointless.

Fabulous stories

Twists & turns all the way…it took a bit of time to get into it, but I have listened to it twice! The acting was very believable and you could feel all the pain, joy & emotions. I am sorry it had to finish
Well done I was gripped all the way. Could there be more stories?
